Original Artworks

I saw an original artwork I loved online, but now it has disappeared. Is it still available?

If an original artwork is no longer showing online, it may have sold or moved to one of my gallery stockists. Each original painting is a one-off piece, so once it has sold, there is not another exactly the same.

If you had your heart set on a particular artwork, please get in touch. I may be able to let you know whether it is still available through a gallery, suggest a similar piece, or share upcoming works that have a similar feeling, colour palette or size. Contact me here.

Do you create more than one of each original painting?

No. Each original painting is a one-of-a-kind artwork created by hand. My originals carry the texture, brushwork, layers and marks of the painting process, which means each piece has its own presence and cannot be exactly repeated.

Can you create a similar artwork if the piece I loved has sold?

Sometimes, yes. I do not copy previous artworks, but I may be able to create a new piece with a similar feeling, palette, scale or energy if it suits my current creative direction. Because my process is intuitive and expressive, each artwork will always be unique. To request a commission, contact me here.

How do I know which artwork will suit my home?

If you are unsure, you are very welcome to email me with a photo of your space, the wall measurements and any pieces you are considering. With my background in design, I can offer guidance around scale, colour, placement and which artwork may best suit the feeling you want to create in your home. Can I see how an artwork might look in my room?

Yes. If you send through a clear photo of your wall and the approximate measurements, I can usually help you visualise how a piece may look in your space. This can be especially helpful when choosing a larger original artwork for a lounge room, hallway, bedroom or entryway.

Do your artworks come ready to hang?

Most original artworks are created to be ready to hang, but this can vary depending on the piece, framing and gallery arrangements. Please check the individual artwork listing or contact me if you would like to confirm the hanging details for a specific work.

Do original artworks come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes, original artworks come with a certificate of authenticity where applicable. This confirms the artwork details and supports the provenance of the piece.

Prints and Products

Do you sell prints of your original artworks?

I offer high-quality art prints of selected artworks. Prints are a more accessible way to bring my work into your home, gift a piece of art, or enjoy a favourite artwork in a different format.

Are your prints limited edition?

Some prints may be limited edition, while others may be open edition, depending on the artwork and collection. Please check the individual product listing for details about edition size, paper type and available formats.

What is the difference between an original painting and a print?

An original painting is a one-of-a-kind artwork made by hand, with visible texture, brushwork, layers and the presence of the artist’s hand. A print is a high-quality reproduction of an original artwork. Prints are beautiful and accessible, but they do not have the same tactile surface, physical texture or one-off nature as an original.

Can I buy your art as gifts or homewares?

Yes. Prints and selected products are a lovely way to gift my artwork or bring small moments of colour, beauty and joy into everyday life. Original paintings remain the heart of my practice, while prints and products offer more accessible extensions of the work. Explore prints here and products here.

Buying and Availability

I found an artwork on Instagram a few months ago. Do you still have it?

Possibly, but many original artworks sell through my website, galleries, art fairs or directly through enquiries. If you remember the artwork, send me a screenshot or description and I can let you know whether it is still available, whether a print exists, or whether I have something similar coming up.

How quickly do your original artworks sell?

It varies. Some pieces sell quickly, especially through galleries or art fairs, while others are available for longer. Because each original is one-of-a-kind, if a piece feels like “the one,” it is worth enquiring sooner rather than later.

Can I reserve an artwork?

This depends on where the artwork is being sold and whether it is available directly through me or through a gallery. If you are seriously considering a piece, please get in touch as soon as possible and I can let you know what is possible.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment options may vary depending on whether the artwork is purchased through my website, directly from me, at an art fair, or through one of my gallery stockists. If you are considering a larger original artwork, please contact me and I can let you know the available options.

Shipping and Delivery

Do you ship original artwork within Australia?

Yes. I can ship original artworks within Australia. Shipping details may vary depending on the size, weight, framing and location of the artwork, so please check the listing or contact me for details on a specific piece.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international shipping may be available. Costs and delivery timeframes vary depending on the size of the artwork and destination. Please contact me before purchasing a larger original artwork internationally so I can confirm the safest and most suitable shipping option.

Do you offer express shipping?

Express shipping may be available for some prints and smaller products. For original artworks, shipping needs to be arranged carefully to protect the work, so express delivery may depend on the size, framing and destination.

How will my artwork be packaged?

Artwork is packaged carefully to protect it in transit. I also prioritise thoughtful re-use where possible, so your artwork may arrive in clean, strong re-used packaging. This is part of my commitment to reducing unnecessary waste while still making sure your artwork arrives safely.

Studio, Galleries and Stockists

Can I visit your studio?

Studio visits are not currently available. However, you can view available artworks online, at selected galleries, and at art fairs or in-person events when I am exhibiting.

Where can I see your work in person?

My work is available through selected galleries and occasional art fairs or exhibitions. Please check my website or contact me for current stockists and upcoming opportunities to view the work in person.

Can my gallery or store become a stockist?

Thank you for your interest. I am selective with stockists and love working with galleries and boutiques that are a strong fit for my artwork and audience. Please email details about your gallery or store, including photos, location, website and the type of work you stock, to support@rosgervayart.com for consideration.

About the Artwork

What style of art do you create?

I create expressive, semi-abstract contemporary botanical and floral artworks. My work is known for colour, movement, texture and loose, dynamic brushwork. Rather than painting literal floral representations, I create intuitive botanical-inspired pieces that bring warmth, joy and emotional presence into the home.

Is your artwork suitable for modern homes?

Yes. My work is expressive and intuitive, but also design-aware. With a background in graphic and spatial design, I naturally consider composition, colour, scale and how artwork lives in real homes. Many collectors choose my work for lounge rooms, hallways, bedrooms, entryways and newly renovated spaces.

Why choose an original artwork over a print or mass-produced wall art?

An original artwork offers texture, presence, authenticity and the feeling of something made by hand. It is not just decoration; it is a one-of-a-kind piece to live with, enjoy and potentially move through different rooms and life stages over time. Original art brings a human presence into the home that mass-produced wall decor cannot fully replicate.
