Winter Holiday Art Classes – Now Open for Bookings!

Choose one workshop only or book as many sessions as you like! Each one offers a unique, creative adventure.

Looking for creative fun these school holidays? Art with Ros is back with a colourful lineup of Winter workshops designed to spark imagination and build confidence through art! From glittering unicorns to jungle tigers, sea creatures to pop-art sculpture—there’s something for every young artist to enjoy.

Spots are limited and tend to fill fast—book early to secure your child’s place!

Here’s what’s coming up 👇

 

TUESDAY 15TH JULY

Morning: “I Am Me” Bedroom Poster (Mixed Media) A confidence-boosting workshop where kids create a colourful poster all about themselves—filled with favourite colours, symbols, and words using painting, drawing, and collage.

Afternoon: Tigers in the Wild (Mixed Media) Kids go wild with pattern and colour as they layer mixed media to create a bold, expressive tiger artwork full of movement and personality.

 

WEDNESDAY 16TH JULY

Morning: Rainbow Undersea Jellyfish (Acrylic on Canvas) Dive into colour and sparkle! Children will paint a glowing jellyfish using acrylics, metallics, and glitter to capture the magic of the ocean.

Afternoon: Spots & Dots Paper Sculpture (Inspired by Yayoi Kusama) It’s all about bold dots and big imagination! Inspired by Kusama, kids will build a vibrant 3D paper sculpture bursting with colour and character.

 

THURSDAY 17TH JULY

Morning: Magical Rainbow Unicorn (Acrylic on Canvas) A dreamy session for unicorn lovers—kids will draw, paint, and glitter their own rainbow unicorn on canvas in a fun cartoon style.

Afternoon: Colour-Lovin’ Circle Art (Acrylic on Paper) Bright, bold and bursting with creativity, this session explores stamping, layering, and painting vibrant circles in a playful, modern-art style.

 

Important: Winter workshops will be held at the Girl Guide Hall, Blackman Park, Lane Cove West. Book now to secure your spot.

FAQ

What age group is this suitable for?

These workshops are designed for primary school-aged children, generally 5–12 years old. If you're unsure whether it's the right fit for your child, feel free to get in touch via my Contact form.

Want to book the whole day?

Just book both the morning and afternoon sessions and your child will be cared for all day from 9am–3.30pm.

Need an earlier start?

Add-on our Early Drop-Off option from 8.15am—perfect for busy mornings! Just follow the prompts during checkout.

Want a snack pack to be provided for your child?

Add this during checkout and I'll have a popcorn & juice pack ready for you! A great option for morning or afternoon tea.

Is food provided?

Food is not provided unless you've added a snack pack at checkout. Please pack your child's morning tea, lunch, and a water bottle. If you book a whole day, please also pack afternoon tea. We are a nut-free zone.

What should my child wear?

Art can get messy! Please dress your child in clothes that can handle a bit of paint, glue, and creative chaos. Aprons are provided, but better safe than sorry.

Do I need to stay during the workshop?

No need to stay—this is a drop-off program. You'll sign your child in and out, and we’ll take great care of them during their session.

Can my child attend alone or do they need to bring a friend?

Absolutely—they're welcome either way! Many children attend solo and make new friends on the day.

My child has additional needs—can they attend?

We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. If your child has specific support needs, please contact Ros before booking to discuss how we can best support them on the day.

Can I add additional children when booking?

Yes! Simply follow the prompts during the checkout process.
