MONDAY 19TH JANUARY

Morning: Fabulous Flower Power (Mixed Media on Large Art Paper) We’re kicking off the week with a burst of colour! In this vibrant workshop, kids will create a fabulously funky flower artwork packed with patterns, dots, spots, and bold brushstrokes. Think sunshine, confetti vibes, and BIG happy energy on paper. If your child loves colour, this one’s pure joy!

Afternoon: Crazy Clay Toucan (Airdry Clay) Let’s get tropical! Kids will sculpt their very own cheeky toucan with a bright beak and loads of personality. They’ll learn simple clay techniques, add fun textures, and finish their toucan with rainforest colours. This one is silly, creative, and guaranteed to bring a smile!

 

TUESDAY 20TH JANUARY

Morning: Wild & Free Portrait (Mixed Media on Canvas) This is expressive art at its best! Kids will paint a bold, colourful portrait filled with patterns, swirls, dots, and whatever wild ideas their imaginations dream up. Using mixed media on canvas, they’ll create a one-of-a-kind artwork that’s full of attitude, freedom, and fun.

Afternoon: Shimmer Seashell Plate (Airdry Clay) Bring on the beachy sparkle! Kids will sculpt their own seashell dish, add lovely textures, and paint it with shimmery coastal colours. It’s calming, creative, and makes a gorgeous little treasure plate to take home.

 

WEDNESDAY 21ST JANUARY

Morning: Quirky Collage Pet Portraits (Collage on Art Paper) Does your child adore animals? This workshop is a total winner! Kids will create a hilarious, quirky pet portrait using collage papers, cut shapes, paint, patterns, and pure imagination. Cats, dogs, llamas, lizards — all pets welcome. Expect lots of giggles and even more colour!

Afternoon: Cute Clay Monster Friends (Airdry Clay) Time to create the cutest monsters ever! Kids will sculpt their very own monster buddy — fluffy, googly-eyed, spiky, wobbly… anything goes! This session is full of fun surprises, and every monster leaves with a BIG personality and a whole lot of charm.

 

THURSDAY 22ND JANUARY

Morning: Mixed Media Bouquet (Mixed Media on Art Paper) A gorgeous explosion of colour awaits! Kids will layer watercolour, oil pastels, markers, and patterns to create a stunning bouquet that’s bursting with texture and personality. This one is perfect for kids who love playing with lots of different art materials.

Afternoon: Rainbow Pattern Bowls (Airdry Clay) If your child loves rainbows, patterns, and getting creative with clay — this workshop is magic. Kids will sculpt a series of miniature bowls, then decorate them with joyful rainbow designs using paint and pattern tools. It’s bright, bold, and super fun to make!

 

FRIDAY 23RD JANUARY

Morning: Positive Vibes Poster (Mixed Media on Art Paper) We’re all about feel-good art! In this workshop, kids will design and paint their own colourful poster filled with uplifting words, bright patterns, and mood-boosting designs. It’s a confidence-building workshop that sends them home with artwork that makes everyone smile.

Afternoon: Spotty Pencil Holder (Airdry Clay) Let’s finish the week with a super fun clay project! Kids will build and paint their own spotty pencil holder — cute, colourful, and perfect for their desk at home. It’s both creative and useful, which parents LOVE.

 

FAQ

What age group is this suitable for?

These popular school holiday art workshops are designed for primary school-aged children, generally 5–12 years old. If you're unsure whether it's the right fit for your child, feel free to get in touch via my Contact form.

Want to book the whole day?

Simply select "Full Day" from the dropdown menu above the booking calendar and your child will be able to enjoy an entire day (9am–3.30pm) of creative fun!

Need an earlier start or later pick-up?

Add-on our Before or After Care options - perfect for busy parents doing the juggle! Just follow the prompts during checkout.

Is food provided?

No. Food is not provided unless you've added a snack pack at checkout. Please pack your child's morning tea, lunch, and a water bottle. If you book a whole day, please also pack afternoon tea. We are a nut-free zone.

Want a snack pack to be provided for your child?

Add this during checkout and I'll have a popcorn & juice pack ready for you! A great option for morning or afternoon tea. Note: This is not a lunch option.

What should my child wear?

Art can get messy! Please dress your child in clothes that can handle a bit of paint, glue, and creative chaos. Aprons are provided, but better safe than sorry.

Do I need to stay during the workshop?

No need to stay—this is a drop-off program. You'll sign your child in and out, and we’ll take great care of them during their session.

Can my child attend alone or do they need to bring a friend?

Absolutely—they're welcome either way! Many children attend the kids art workshops solo and make new friends on the day.

My child has specific support needs—can they attend?

We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. If your child has specific support needs, please contact Ros before booking to discuss how we can best support them on the day.

Can I add additional children when booking?

Yes! Simply follow the prompts during the checkout process.
